Purchasing or Selling a Property in Arlington, MA

Arlington Overview

Why do buyers and renters gravitate towards Arlington? First, they have an excellent public school system, ranked #24 in all of Massachusetts according to Niche.com’s 2025 school rankings. Second, Arlington is very close to downtown Boston and is very commutable as it is bordered by both routes 2 and 3 - so if you are a driving commuter, Arlington is a great place to be. Third, it’s significantly more affordable than other towns close to Boston. For example, the average sold price for a single family in Cambridge in 2024 was $2.55M whereas in Arlington the average single family sold price was $1.28M.

Also, Arlington is more suburban-ish compared to a place like Cambridge or Somerville. So not only are the prices generally more affordable, but you’ll have significantly more inventory compared to Cambridge or Somerville.

Excellent experience with Sage around a leasing a new property. Sage drove out from the city to the 'burbs to show me the place on short notice. Throughout the entire process, he was very responsive and professional. I had several last minute items that needed clarification prior to signing to which he handled quickly and without issue. Thanks again Sage. - Derek Watt

Sage is a great agent to work with. He is extremely helpful, accommodating and very responsive. He is always ready to take extra steps to make sure his customers are taken care of. This is my second time working with him and I will keep working with him down the road. Thank you, Sage, for all your hard work and help.
