Investment Property Sales for Retirement

These types of multi-family sales are probably my favorite. My heart warms whenever I think about some of the people I have helped over the years. 

For example, I think about a woman who worked into her 70s and now as a grandmother was able to sell her property. She was able to use the proceeds to buy a beautiful multi-generational home and have a retirement fund for the rest of her life.  

I have met so many people from all walks of life who have worked so hard to make it and in the process provided a better life to dozens or even hundreds of tenants over many decades. And now these people want to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

As a seller, maybe you never lived in your property before. Maybe you grew up in it and raised a family there. Or maybe you live there now. Whatever the case may be, it’s a big decision to sell. You need to make sure that you can really think through the pluses and minuses of every decision. Do you sell? What price do you need? What should you do to balance the stress of preparing a home for sale and maximizing your returns?

I take great pride in being able to use lessons learned from 100s of transactions to help clients make their OWN informed decisions. My job as an agent is to be a transmitter of information and an advocate. I do not believe it’s my job to tell my clients what to do; instead it’s to give them the resources they need to feel good about their own decisions.
